2018 Christmas Craft Fairs & Markets

Several Christmas Craft Fairs and Markets take place in Charlottetown and other Island communities during the months of November and December each year. Below are a selection of annual fairs and markets. Dates for some 2018 fairs have yet to be confirmed and will be updated once they have been finalized.

PEI Crafts Council's Christmas Fair (Nov 9 - 11)

Shop from over 40 of PEI's top craftspeople at the 54th Annual PEI Crafts Council's Christmas Fair in Charlottetown. Vendors have been juried and represent the best the Island has to offer in quality handmade items such as pottery, woodworking, leather craft, jewellery, textiles, art and other fine gifts. Enjoy the Christmas spirit and find some lovely handcrafted gifts to take home for your family and friends. The fair takes place over three days in mid-November. Learn more>>

St. Mark's Bake & Craft Sale

The annual St. Mark's Presbyterian Church Bake and Craft Sale takes place in mid-November in Charlottetown. A variety of crafted and baked items will be available.

York Point Community Centre Christmas Craft Fair (Nov 10)

York Point Community Centreis located at York Point Road in Cornwall and hosts an annual one-day Christmas Craft Fair featuring arts and crafts by Island artisans. All are welcome. Learn more>>

Perrin's Marina Villa 8th Annual Christmas Craft Fair

The 8th annual Christmas Craft Fair at Perrin's Marina Villa gives visitors the opportunity to find unique handcrafted gifts from many local artisans. Free admittance, fudge, and a door prize are on offer. Proceeds help support the Residents' Activity Fund. Perrin's Marina Villa Community Care Facility is located at 115 Sackville Street, Montague.

Trinity-Clifton United Church (Nov 16 & 17)

The annual Christmas Fair at Trinity United Church, 220 Richmond St, Charlottetown and takes place Nov 16 (10am - 4pm) and Nov 17 (9.30am - 2pm).  Admission is free and everyone is welcome. Fair will feature: jams, jellies, pickles, cookies, cake, bake table, candies, fudge, crafts, jewelry, deli, silent auction, treasures, sewing, knitting, books and Christmas decorations. Stratford Schools Holiday Market (Nov 16 & 17)

Stratford Elementary and Glen Stewart Primary are holding their annual holiday market on Nov16 and Nov 17. The holiday market is being held at Stratford Elementary, 50 Glen Stewart Dr, and will be open on Friday from 5:00-9:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am-5:00pm. Come browse over 90 exhibitors with items ranging from homemade food, crafts and trinkets. Admission is $3.00 but children under 12 are free.

The Mount Christmas Craft Fair (Nov 17)

The Mount Continuing Care Community will host a Christmas craft fair on Nov 17 from 9am - 3pm at 141 Mt Edward Rd. 

Victorian Christmas Market (Nov 23 - 25)

Victorian Christmas Market takes place in downtown Charlottetown Nov 23 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Nov 24 from 10:00am to 8:00pm, and Nov 25 from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Find crafts, wares, food and more, all created and offered by local vendors, makers, artisans and chefs. It's part of Victorian Christmas Weekend! Learn more >>  

Colonel Gray Christmas Craft Fair (Nov 23 & 24)

The 26th Annual Colonel Gray Band Christmas Craft Fair takes place at Colonel Gray High School, at 175 Spring Park Road in Charlottetown. This annual craft fair includes over a 100 vendors featuring quality handcrafted items and decorations, fudge and a canteen. Learn more >>

Kensington Craft Fair

The 26th Annual Kensington Craft Fair will be held the Queen Elizabeth Elementary School, Saunders Lane, Kensington. There will be door prizes and an opportunity to support local artisans.

Breadalbane Small is Beautiful

The 6th Annual Small is Beautiful Christmas Craft Fair takes place at Breadalbane Community Centre in late November. Past vendors have included PEI Maple and More, Oceanna Seaplants, Stanley Pottery, Karen's Jewelery, MySights Cards & Prints, knitting, crochet, woodworking, baking, and Anita's Canteen. Proceeds go to the Breadlabane Community Council.

Milton Community Hall Christmas Craft Fair

The Milton Community Hall annual Christmas Craft Fair will take place in late November. Browse the handmade gift ideas for the holiday season. Admission at the door. Children enter for free. The hall is located at the intersection of Rtes. 7 & 224 in North Milton.

Hunter River Community Craft Show

The 4th annual Hunter River Community Crat Show will take place in early December at the Hunter River Community Centre. Admission at the door includes a ballot for door prizes. Children under 12 are free. There will be an assortment of vendors with handmade items such as sewing, knitting, baked goods, paintings, photography and more.

Christmas in the Villages

The 5th Annual Christmas in the Villages will be held in early December. Events will take place at the Murray Harbour Community Centre, The Murray River Hall, and The Northumberland Arena. All venues will offer products and items from local artisans, farmers, bakers and businesses. 

Charlottetown Farmers' Market Artisan Market (Dec 2, 9 & 16)

Charlottetown Farmers' Market presents an artisan market featuring original, local and affordable items on the first three Sundays in December (10am - 4pm, tentatively).  Enjoy Christmas shopping while supporting independent artisans.
