Diversecity Multicultural Street Festival
One Time Event
Celebrating the many cultures and ethnicities that make up the Island community, Charlottetown’s DiverseCity Multicultural Street Festival is a not-to-be-missed day filled with positive energy and plenty of family-friendly activities. Taking place on June 24th, 2018 in the heart of downtown Charlottetown, DiverseCity takes over two blocks of Queen Street for eight hours filled with festivities. Highlights of this annual event include loads of delicious international cuisine, beautiful handcrafts for purchase, cultural information displays, children's games and activities, cultural performances (dancing, martial arts, etc.) and live entertainment on the mainstage. This year’s DiverseCity will showcase the cultural talents of over 50 ethnocultural groups in PEI, including newcomer and long-established cultural communities!
DiverseCity is Atlantic Canada's largest multicultural festival and is the recipient of the City of Charlottetown's 2016 Cultural Event Award.
