Parents Dine Out

Dine out in the city and get FREE childcare that night! That’s right, every Friday night in March and *April is your chance to enjoy a night on the town—sans kiddos! Discover Charlottetown has partnered with popular recreational programming hosts Havenwood Dance Studios (in March) and Active Islanders (in *April) to offer FREE child care (ages 4-12) with proof of dining at a participating restaurant that same evening.

*Pssst – Registration for April is now completely FULL! There are still spots open at Havenwood Dance Studios for Fri, March 22 & 29. Havenwood has something for every taste – from sports and arts & crafts to movies and dance parties. It’s nothing short of a fun-filled experience for all little ones!

Signing up is easy:

1. Book your reservation at one of the participating restaurants below for a Friday night out in March or April
2. Fill out either a Havenwood Dance Studios (Fridays in March) OR Active Islanders (Fridays in April – NOW FULL) *form below with your child’s information (*one form per child) and confirm you have made a reservation at a participating restaurant
3. Drop your child off at their respective location for a night of fun activities (waiver to be signed upon arrival). Please note the earliest drop-off time is 5:30pm and pick-up is by 9:15pm.
4. When you pick your child up, you must show a copy of your restaurant receipt from that night

PLEASE NOTE: If you need to cancel your childcare reservation at one of the programs, please contact the respective program provider within 24 hours of your booking with the subject line “Parents Dine Out” and let them know who you are cancelling for.

Space is limited and on a first come, first serve basis. Childcare reservations are strongly recommended, but not required. To be eligible, children must be 4 to 12 years of age.
