The Farmacy+Fermentary is PEI's first and only Kombucha Tap Room and Cafe. Owners, Amy Smith and Verena Varga also own Heart Beet Organics, a small certified organic vegetable Farm and Fermentary, which supplies the majority of the vegetables and fermented delights served in the cafe. Open all year

The Farmacy features ten of Heart Beet’s delicious Kombucha flavours on tap, all made with local organic fruits, herbs and flowers, available in flights, pints, cocktails/mocktails, as well as ‘to go’ refillable bottles. The Cafe is truly farm-to-table, and offers wholesome plant-based meals using organic Island-grown produce from Heart Beet Organics and other neighbouring farms, often harvested within hours of service. Soups, Salads, Sandwiches and Sharing platters are available to eat in or ‘take out’, with menu items changing with the seasons. There is also a small marche offering fresh local produce as well as other artisanal island-made products, including Heart Beet’s many ferments such as Kimchi, Sauerkraut, Hot Sauce and pickled things galore!
